Bringing a key sponsor's story to life in The Surfer's Guide.
Challenge
As a double-page advertiser in The Surfer's Guide - Bali, Earth Island requested that I take creative control and create an ad for their annual surf festival. My main challenge was to ensure I channeled Earth Island's philosophical, nature-forward brand voice while staying true to The Surfer's Guide voice and tone.
Solution
Researched the brand and event and developed a beautiful print ad that felt native to The Surfer's Guide while embodying Earth Island's voice.
